Systematic review and meta-analysis of medication use in pregnancy in Europe and North America, published in BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth

Colleagues from CRAT (Centre de Référence sur les Agents Tératogènes, the French Teratology Information Service), in collaboration with Radboud University (the Netherlands), the University of Oslo (Norway), and the IMAGe Center (Quebec, Canada), have conducted a systematic review to describe the mean number of medications used per pregnancy and the prevalence of medication use in Europe and North America. The review also examines medication use by trimester, medication class, and the use of potentially harmful medications. A copy of the paper is available here.
