Collaborative ENTIS study published investigating the safety of GLP1 receptor agonists in early pregnancy

A collaborative ENTIS study, led by the Swiss Teratogen Information Service and Clinical Pharmacology Service at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) and University of Lausanne in Switzerland, has been published in BMJ Open. This multicentre, observational prospective cohort study compared pregnancy outcomes between women exposed to GLP1-RA in early pregnancy and those with diabetes exposed to at least one non-GLP1-RA antidiabetic drug and another reference group of overweight/obese women without diabetes.
