Comparing the capture of COVID-19 vaccination in pregnancy in commercial insurance claims records and electronic health records

Researchers from the Fielding School of Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) have published an analysis comparing the capture of COVID-19 vaccines in pregnancy in commercial insurance claims records and electronic health records. The results demonstrated improved capture of CV-19 vaccine administration with insurance claims data, highlighting the potential misclassification which can result from the use of electronic healthcare records alone.
