Neurocognitive outcomes following in utero antiseizure medication use

Researchers from The University of Melbourne (Australia) have published an analysis of data collected in the Raoul Wallenberg Australian Pregnancy Register of Antiepileptic Drugs. The study investigates whether in utero exposure to specific types of ASM monotherapies is associated with poorer neurocognitive outcomes compared with ASM-unexposed children.
