No association between maternal cannabis use in pregnancy and ADHD diagnosis in the offspring in the Quebec Pregnancy Cohort

Researchers from the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Sainte-Justine (Montreal, Canada) have published a large population based study including approximately 2,400 mother-infant pairs where they investigated associations between maternal cannabis use in pregnancy and offspring ADHD risk. No evidence of a statistically significant association was provided by this study, including in a sensitivity analysis which restricted the cohort to offspring with more than 4 years of follow-up.
