Reassuring data concerning the safety of inactivated influenza vaccines in pregnancy

A systematic review and meta-analysis published in Human Vaccines and Immunotherapeutics which combined data from up to 40 studies of inactivated influenza vaccine exposure in pregnancy, has provided reassuring data concerning preterm delivery, low birth weight, congenital abnormalities and stillbirth risks.
