Study examines maternal and fetal outcomes following statin discontinuation in pregnancy

Researchers from the Sungkyunkwan University Suwon/Seoul in South Korea have published an analysis of the National Health Insurance Database of South Korea evaluating the risks of maternal cardiovascular, gestational, and fetal outcomes associated with continuing versus discontinuing statin therapy before the last menstrual period.
