Systematic review and meta-analysis published conducting a pairwise comparative safety analysis of anti-TNF blockers, vedolizumab and ustekinumab

An international collaboration of researchers have published a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing the safety of anti-TNF blockers, vedolizumab and ustekinumab in pregnancy. Although higher risks were observed for vedolizumab and ustekinumab in comparison with anti-TNF inhibitors, the authors concluded that this was likely related to longer disease duration, prior biologic exposure, and more active disease, More information is available here.
