Therapeutic amfetamine use during breastfeeding and child neurodevelopment
Researchers from TIS Zerifin in Israel have published a study investigating the effects of ADHD treatment with therapeutic amfetamines during breastfeeding and childhood development, measured using the Pediatric Quality of Life and Denver Developmental Scale assessment tools. The study findings described normal neurodevelopment with no significant adverse effects, suggesting therapeutic amphetamine use is likely compatible with breastfeeding.
