Vaccine willingness and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women’s perinatal experiences

Collaborators from ENTIS and affiliated organisations have published the results of a web-based survey investigating vaccine willingness among pregnant and breastfeeding women, and how the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic impacted women’s perinatal experiences. This multinational survey was promoted in Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the UK between 16 June and 14 July 2020, and identified considerable vaccine hesitancy among the respondents (40-50%), with education level and employment status associated with vaccine hesitancy.
