COVID-19 vaccine in pregnancy; Preliminary miscarriage data published

Researchers from the US CDC’s v-safe registry have published some preliminary data regarding the risk of miscarriage. Among women who were vaccinated either prior to pregnancy, or before 20 weeks gestational age, the age standardised cumulative risk of miscarriage was estimated to be 12.8% (95% CI: 10.8–14.8%), and in keeping with the expected background risk.
