Intellectual difficulties in patients with fetal valproate syndrome

A collaborative of researchers from Manchester University, The University of Liverpool and Aston University have demonstrated that intellectual difficulties are a central feature of fetal valproate syndrome, and are more severe in their presentation in individuals with a diagnosis of valproate embryopathy. Methods for assessing selection bias in pregnancy pharmacovigilance studies
